How does self storage work?

Renting a storage unit at Squarefoot is child's play.

The short version:

When you choose a location on our website and complete the online booking, all your questions will be answered step by step.

The long version:

• Choose a location and find the perfect one for you.
• Select a unit at the location that fits your space requirements.
• Receive your rental contract from us and sign it.
• Pay for the unit, either in advance, by setting up a direct debit order, or by entering your credit card details for monthly rental payments.
• Go to the self storage location to store your items. You will receive instructions on how to get in and find your unit in good time before your first visit.
• Walk over to your self storage unit inside the facility.
• Pack your unit. A self storage unit is intended solely for storage purposes. Move the items you want to keep into the unit. If you want to fill it to capacity, play a little grown-up Tetris – careful stacking can work space wonders.
• You lock the unit until you need something again and leave the facility, knowing full well that your stored furniture and boxes, as well as bikes, skis, etc., are in the best hands at Squarefoot.
• Voila, that's it! You are now a proud Squarefoot Selfstorage customer!
